Stair railing for tiny home?

Building a tiny home and have these stairs we want to add a railing to, as well as a railing for the loft. Are there kits where we can adjust the height of the posts or what would be the easiest solution for the stair railing? Because of the windows, we cant add a hand rail on that side, so it will have to be a railing on the opposite side.

Just build it the way railings are usually built. No, they don't sell kits. Wait, I stand corrected. Home Depot sells kits for outdoor-type railings. You can buy spindles in plain and decorative shapes. The usual height of railings per the building code, at least in my area, is 42" which is a very good height because it's hard for a person to fall over it, and spindles are sold in appropriate length to make that height. Or you could build a frame and drywall it which might give you some useful extra wall space. Even if you aren't exactly following a building code, I'd build to that height. And I'd put grilles or something over those windows in case someone trips on the stairs.

Building codes are very strict on railing on stairs. Look up the ones in your area before you adjust or cut something. There are plenty of places that sell spindles, balustrades and hand rails.
