Should I invest in stocks?

I am 19, started making money not long ago but a few grand. I don't have a job, can't get one it seems and I have a shopping problem so I need to make up for it. I signed up for stocks such as Etoro, I want to invest because I heard you can make profits, but I don't want to put too much like £1000 or 500. Should I invest, is it a good way to make money and how do I guarantee more money?

Without a job, you have no money to invest-unless you inherited it. So the point is moot.

No. You're unemployed and need access to your savings.

Investing in stocks is not right for you at present. You are an unemployed teen, with next to no funds.

You should not invest in stocks at this time.  You don't have a job and you have a shopping problem.  Solve the shopping problem and get a job before investing in the stock market.  When you invest in the stock market, go with a reputable broker and do your research before buying anything.  Stay away from fad stocks and put your money in solid, dividend paying companies.  There are no guarantees.
