If you exclude the pizza chains that sells only pizza, there are several chains, but they are not present in every state. Some examples of Italian restaurants franchises in no particular order are:

    Olive garden

    Carrabbas,

    California Pizza Kitchen

Maggiano's Little Italy (really good, too)

    Buca di Beppo

    Romano's Macaroni Grill

New York Pizzeria (not just in New York and sells not just pizzas).

You should also know that there are smaller chains such as those that exists in a city or a state. In my hometown, there was a chain that was probably in the top 5 in terms of popularity, but it had no restaurants anywhere else.

    Buca di Beppo. ...

    Olive Garden. ...

    Uno Chicago Grill. ...

MY  experience of Chain Italian restaurants i that they should be shamed in a public square, since 'generic' Italian food is not difficult to make at home.

There are no national Italian chains worth eating at.    (If anyone says Olive Garden, they ought to be ashamed of themselves).

There are probably some local/regional chains.   One in my neck of the woods that is decent is Tutta Bella.

To the first commenter, Yahoo Answers put this question in the category its in, and it won't let me change it, so I guess you should follow your own advice about thinking before posting by doing a little of that yourself.
