My favorite is the Green Mile, followed by Shawshank Redemption. Both are stories by Stephen King, which is fascinating.

The Longest Yard, starring Adam Sandler and Chris Rock

Two other prison movies that were pretty good are The Rock (also starring Nicolas Cage) and The Green Mile.
