Are you a little scared of bumble bees?

No, not one little bit. I've been stung quite a few times so I've no fear of anaphylactic shock from bee stings. Yes, they hurt but not that much on the grand scheme of things. When I dislocated by elbow that was damned painful and not something I would like to repeat. Considering I could very easily flatten a bumble bee, although I would never do so, I think they have far more to fear from me.

They are beautiful creatures and it's better to know their sting is to keep people away so we have honey.

No.  Bees do not sting me.  Wasps don't either.

No, not even. Makes my day when I can get one on my hand and drink a little honey.
