No, not one little bit. I've been stung quite a few times so I've no fear of anaphylactic shock from bee stings. Yes, they hurt but not that much on the grand scheme of things. When I dislocated by elbow that was damned painful and not something I would like to repeat. Considering I could very easily flatten a bumble bee, although I would never do so, I think they have far more to fear from me.

They are beautiful creatures and it's better to know their sting is to keep people away so we have honey.
