what is your opinion about the united states collegiate women's soccer(usa)/football(uk)?

Can't comment on the yanks. However the British Womens game is gaining traction now. They've copied the model Basketball used to grow the sport, basically target the game at families. When you go to games, there is loads for kids to do, the interaction is there, tickets are priced so it's cheap to take the whole family. That they've done right. The quality is growing slowly. Still has a bit to go but its getting there.

The baffling move they have made is to align it with the mens calendar. The womens game used to be played over summer. Now they've moved it from August-May. This is a bit of a stupid move to me as their target audience is even less likely to go in Winter. Also if any fans of the mens game want to go, it limits their chances. My team has mens and womens teams and i used to go support the women over the summer. Now they clash with the mens games and I've supported that team longer.
