Accidentally touched metal to metal on a battery what will happen ?

You would know if you got a shock.

The numbness will spread through your hand, up your arm and into your head.   It will then be necessary to put you out of your misery.   They usually do that by a shot to the head with a pistol in the hospital. 

Usually death occurs within 3 hours.    Please make out a will.

Well, if you're feeling numb, you could be suffering some serious bodily damage. I'd say if this persists you should check yourself into a hospital. I had a shark friend that died from an accident involving a car battery.

For that you should have no symptoms, form what you describe if the numbness persists I would consult a doctor and not ask random idiots like me that have no medical expertise.  Doubt it will cause an issue to the whole body. Its probably just you got a short circuit and a small shock.

I've heard that doing that can make a man's dik get blisters. 

ordinary batteries dont have the amps to kill you , 

I have a small screwdriver I use for that,,sometimes a dime.

I usually test a battery on my tongue to see if its alive or dead, if I get a tingle l know its ok to use. 

You’ll be fine. There’s not enough amp on an AA or AAA battery to do permanent damage. 

Just remember, it’s not the volt that kills you, it’s the amp.
