Can you tell me if squrrel can or can not eat bacon?

I am slightly confused the answers keep changing At . First they said that  they only eat plans and other stuff ol. Then I'm told squirrels  bite too so thay here capabilities to chew meats t much mean I they can chom hacon

    Whilst they are capable of eating bacon it is not a normal part of their diet nor is it healthy for them.

    I tossed a small piece of pork steak out cause i dropped it. One of my squirrels picked it up and munched it. I didn't know they ate meat.
