If I could return us to the time before industrial revolution Is that how far back you mean, or back to the time when we tied rocks to sticks with pieces of animal skin? I think we just need to back far enough to remove the internet and cell phones and other digital devices and we'd be fine. Life was truly better for us all then

The wheel is a form of technology. Hell, even clothing, a campfire, and a pointy stick are forms of technology. Without any technology at all life would be difficult if not impossible. Humans have legs for mobility, brains for carrying out calculations and structuring ideas, fine-tuned dexterity for manipulating matter in the most intricate ways. It's almost like we were made for the very purpose of bringing form to the world around us. I would not destroy all of technology, but I would refrain from using that which harms.

My hobbies are largely tech focused. My career is as a construction electrician. I live in the middle of a densely populated area where there's no real local sources of food or water without transportation and pumping. I'll keep the tech.

Source(s): Agriculture itself is technically a technology too. As would be hunting with anything other than your bare hands. How far does this go?

Are you talking about the material destruction of things or wiping out knowledge? Because if it's the former, anything can be rebuilt. But if it's the latter, that just makes you a typical religious fanatic.

I resent that! One of my best friends is a sentient artificial intelligence.
