Looks like Rodgers will be gone after next year as a Packers fan i can't blame him can you. I  say the 49er's pick him up what say you ? ?

He will win another ring before his career ends whether with Green Bay or not.

I think he's about done anyway.  Heading into last year, he had a "one year at a time" mentality when it came to deciding when he would retire.  Coming off of 2019, a season in a middle-of-the-pack Green Bay team fought its way into the NFC Championship, the front office decided to kick him in the nuts - drafting his future replacement rather than filling gaps and building on momentum to make a run at a Superbowl. 

He responded by having an MVP season - he was by far the most impressive QB on a football field last fall.  Had Green Bay held off on drafting Love and instead sought out additional "win now" pieces, I think they'd have won it all.

Heading into the draft, there's no guarantee that the front office isn't going to do something else dumb this year under the guise of "looking to the future".  I think the Packers grind their way back to the playoffs next year, but won't have a deep run.  And sometime early the following spring, he announces his retirement.

2 years after this year left on Rodgers contract he is not going anywhere unless the Packers allow him to.They have to see about Loves development before makeing any decesion.Tradeing him is tempting especialy if some team dangles 3 #1 picks for him.Lots of money goes off the payroll and the tools to bulid a futrue will be there.However if Love turns out to be a total bust heads might roll for letting him go.People keep saying the Packers aren't doing enough for Rodgers.Yet he has the ablity to restructure  his contract and take a cut to help bulid a team around him like Brady did.One way or another Packer management has to hope Rodgers puts up another year like last.That will increase any trade value.If he gets injured they will have few takers  willing to give away their picks for him.

Maybe he should do like Brett Favre did and be the Vikings starting Quarterback.

It remains to be seen where he'll end up, but a California team seems like a reasonable guess.

Time will tell.Even if his contract is done the Packers can franchise him for a year or two.Not saying that will happen but  it can happen.

Hopefully the Packers keep him.

They're saying that about Wilson, too.

Maybe both teams will do a complete switcheroo?

The 49ers just traded 3 first round picks to take their future QB next month.  They aren't then signing Rodgers.

First, the Packers pretty much ended their relationship with Rodgers the moment they drafted Jordan Love. While it is true that Rodgers is an aging QB, it also showed that the Packers wanted to move in a new direction sooner, and felt that Rodgers had begun to decline. By drafting Love, the Packers all but made it clear that Rodgers was no longer the primary option going into the future. 

The truth is, Aaron Rodgers has two things that go against him at this point: 

1. His age - He is now 36, which means, he has just about reached the end of his prime. At this stage, he is naturally declining as all QB's do when they age. He seems to be still playing very well, but after this next season, we may start to see a downward progression due to age which is normal for every QB. 

2. His lack of playoff success - Aaron Rodgers is one of many successful players that has earned a reputation based on a single super bowl win. While Rodgers has the numbers in the regular season to back up his resume and legacy in the NFL, he is just 11-9 in the playoffs. While 11-9 is still a winning record, it isn't great. Also, he is now 1-4 in NFC championship game appearances. 

Rodgers will be a first ballot Hall of Famer, and yes, if he is released by the Packers, he will be picked up immediately by another team. However, the Packers as an organization understand that they are approaching a ceiling with Rodgers as the QB. Unless he wins a super bowl next season, his career in Green Bay is finished.
