If Republicans are so interested in election integrity, then why did they oppose Robert Mueller's investigation into the Trump campaign?

In general, Republicans are not terribly concerned about election Integrity in the abstract. Instead, what they're concerned about are Democrats winning elections. Now, some of these people may legitimately, though incorrectly, believe that these Democratic victories are due to fraud. But many of them, particularly politicians, recognize that these Democratic victories are legitimate. People just tend to prefer Democratic policies and candidates and so when lots of people vote Democrats tend to be the winners. So the concern over voter fraud is really about partisan Advantage. They want to Institute supposed voter Integrity laws not to protect the vote in an abstract sense, but rather to try and massage the votes so that they continue to win elections. Of course, if you view the issue election Integrity purely through a partisan lens, then you're not going to be terribly interested in voter fraud, or alleged voter fraud, which occurs on your side. Now this is not absolutely true. In 2018 a republican Congressional candidate was caught actually committing voter fraud. His operatives were harvesting uncompleted absentee ballots and filling out votes for him. The election authorities in North Carolina, who are primarily Republican, refused to certify is Victory and he never ended up serving in Congress. But when it comes to Trump, conservatives abandoned any sort of concern about election security, or even really National Security. They were totally uninterested in the possibility that Trump may have effectively been a Russian agent. That's because he was their guy and he had, surprisingly, ended up winning the election

If they wanted to investigate election integrity then they should have done just that.

Investigating Trump hoping to find election integrity issues is not quite the same thing. At the very least they could have investigated Hillary as well.

They only want Republicans to vote.

Russia is connected with Trump and probably the RNC.

Republicans ONLY care because they need to further perpetuate the big lie of voter fraud!

The thing is, it was started by Republicans based on disinformation by Democrats.
