Does the name Vilma Rhyme with Wilma?

Is their a difference between Vilma and  Wilma? cause some people will mistakenly call Vilma Wilma. So I am just curious

    So this honeymoon couple decided on Hawaii as a destination. The flew in, changed for the beach and soon were on the sand. There, they met a portly gentleman who was taking the sun and enjoying himself. They asked him "Do you pronounce the name of this state HaWaii, or HaVaii? He answered "Havaii". They thanked him and he said "You're Velcome".
