My cat won't give me some space how to communicate?

I'm sorry, Erin. But to your kitty, you are the pet. She's the boss. I have a kitty, Buster. We're best friends. Now that it's Spring, we have breakfast outside on the patio. He'll eat his soft egg & I'll read the newspaper to him. Sometimes, he'll make a comment. Or, we'll sit together while I watch TV. Usually, he'll take long naps & that's when I can go someplace or work around the house. It's just when I'm inactive that he dominates my time.

Don't get mean to Ms.Kitty. She obviously loves you.

Very cute photo.  I have a tuxedo with same problem.  Only real solution is just to move her away when necessary.  Eventually they get the idea.

I am not sure you can.  Or rather, I have not found a good way to solve that problem.  And I definitely don't like those claws anywhere near my eyes.  I keep moving the paws away whenever they get too close, and eventually the cat stops.  But he still will do the very same thing later.  He hasn't learned a thing.  probably knows very well that I dislike when he does that, but does not care.  Can't help himself.
