Why did we get a mouse infestation under our floors when we used to have over 30 cats and a lot of feral cats outside?

I did just get rid of most a few days ago but still. My stepdad pulled up floorboards and found a million under there, dead and alive. I guess my cats were too busy sleeping, eating dog food or table scabs and raping each other or our two chihuahuas? Pathetic.

cats do nothing to control rodents. They kill very few, killing more birds then anything. Best to get rid of all the feral cats and stop being filthy slobs

Because you live in filth. Cats aren't hunter killers, they're just cats.
