Being wealthy is not a sin. Worshiping your money is a sin. They are not necessarily the same thing.

Devotion to the rosary of the Virgin Mary will detach one's heart from the love of this world and its vanities and lead him instead to the desire for eternal things. Material possessions are good to have within reason and if used not as ends in themselves buy as means to a greater good.
