    No, but psychoanalysis can even if it's a long work to do on oneself. Short: it is not that simple ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

    As for medications well, they hide the symptoms but never cure the real cause of depression. Thus as soon as you stop them, the depression comes back.

    ◘ Note: Depression mustn't be confused with a simple depressed state. The latter is momentary unlike depression, which can last a life time if left untreated.
