Is 120 lbs person too heavy for you to carry?

I'm not talking just for a minute or several seconds, I'm talking for a mile to help them say if injured or they cannot walk? Do you have the effort to do this or is it too heavy to carry that far?

I haven't tried. My guess is I could do a fireman's carry for that far, so long as I don't have to be there really quickly... and I'd probably need a break or two.

Thankfully, I haven't had to try anything like that.

I only weigh 118 so I doubt I could carry them

I guess it depends on how big and trained the person doing the carrying is.

Yeah, probably. If someone is seriously injured, its usually not recommended that you move them anyway. You can cause them firther injury. If you cant stay and wait for help, you shpuld leave them and return with help. There are carrying techniques that make carrying a person easier, but i still wouldnt want to try to lug someone a mile

120lbs is less than half of my weight (255lbs), and even if it were dead weight (unconscious), I could carry them for several miles.  But I'm a former football player and am still in peak physical shape.

Army training...that'll do it lol!  Confidence courses, 8-10 miles...ah the memories LMAO

in my army training they would make you run with a bloke bigger then that.

it's surprisingly easy, although picking an unconscious guy from the ground is almost impossible without help.

Over my shoulder I could certainly carry someone that far.

If their injury made that impossible I would need the assistance of an additional person.
