Trump rioters who stormed the capitol in takeover attempt are expressing regret & apologizing.  Should we forgive them or are they traitors?

How could they possibly not know being part of a mob that had broken into the Capitol building was not a serious offense? Just hold them accountable ... that's what the legal system is for. I wouldn't give them any mercy but it's not my call.

They are dangerous traitors, they knew what they were doing and must be held accountable. Starting with the Insurrectionist in Chief.  

Most honestly thought they were merely peacefully protesting.

Especially compared to ANTIFA and BLM protesters who were actually burning stuff down and looting.

I think it's hilarious how scared Leftists got over a few dozen unarmed people storming the capitol building and taking selfies in Nancy's office.

And still to this day there are layers of layers and layers of barbed wire fencing guarded by the military surround the building. All over a few unarmed people. It's so pathetic.

There was no "takeover attempt" except in the oxygen-starved left-wing groupthink bubble.

And in many cases, the people who entered the Peoples' House of the Capitol did not break in or push past anybody trying to prevent them from entering.

As for entry, why did the police try to stop them from approaching and entering a public building like that, anyway?

They don't regret what they did at all.  They regret two other things:  (1) they were unsuccessful in overturning a legit election and (2) they were caught and are being prosecuted.

They were lead by Trump. Unless they hurt someone or destroyed property, they should be forgiven.

Words are cheap...show me actions that express regret and efforts to repair the damages and make amends for their crimes.
