God does not want you to fear him but fear what he can go to the world when he is angry and I know for a fact he is very angry on how the world is today, Fear the wrath and not God himself

Fearing that God watches everyone and he will punish you when you do mistakes (sin). It means that you should not do sin, if you do you cannot escape from God.

God’s intervention in human affairs is very rare. God doesn't watch each and every human being at the same time and cannot live with each and everyone to guide them. These works are done by the spirits. God had created different kinds of spirits for various purposes. He had made the spirits to watch, guide and determine the destiny of the human beings from their daily activities, talks and thoughts too. Your past determines your present and your present determines your future. God has given freewill to all creatures including human beings. According to this, all human beings have all right to live a life as they wish. But if it happens to be bad and hurts someone, they have to face the consequences. These consequences are created by spirits. It's a natural system. After death no one lives in any form. Heaven and hell are only for spirits, not for human beings. God is a mystery even to the spirits. Spirits are not eternal beings but their lifetime is long. Spirits are separate elements. A human being during his/her lifetime is living with many spirits which have joined one by one since birth. They are knowledge, skills, feelings, emotions, interests and everything. Further there will be always some spirits with you on behalf of your parents, friends and relatives. Only these spirits make you remember them in a certain situations. All of these spirits are your consciousnesses and memories. Even thoughts are not your own. For example, when you want to take a decision on a subject, one after another the spirits think and you just listen, choose or reject the ideas which they transmit to your mind through your brain in the form of thoughts. Brain is just a media to connect the spirits to your mind. A mind is just a computer's mind. A mind is you. After the destruction of a computer completely you will not get its mind. The same is the case with the human beings.  A human being doesn't have a spiritual body. Soul is nothing but an energy needed for the functionality of a body. It is not a spirit or anything else. A body's functionality is based on the auto mechanism.  After death all spirits which accompanied a person quit and go to different places searching new bodies. No one lives after death in any form. All human beings are just robots made of flesh and bones and toys of the spirits for their games.

It's, basically, respect. If you have no fear of someone, will you respect them at all? Since Jehovah made all things, he knows what is best, similar to a car maker would know what's best for cars (Revelation 4:11). He also has our best interests at heart and does not like it when people die (Isaiah 48:17, 18; Ezekiel 33:11). So, when he asks us to do something or not to do something, we need to listen and respect it.

I think it means respect for him.  God can certainly use fear as a motivation, but he would much rather motivate us through charity, faith, hope, and honor.

If you look up "fear" in the dictionary, you will see that it has quite a few definitions, one of which is "great respect and honor". This is the definition that is being used when we speak of "fear of God" or "fear of the Lord".

A healthy respect of God coupled with the intense fear of the terrible consequences that await you in life if you do the actions that are unhealthy and not positive.

That is part of the fear of God you read his word the Bible and by reading of his word the Bible you know what are the good actions and what are the bad actions.

You read about the Bible characters the ones that obeyed God's outline for your life. And they all had some kind of a good life thing happened to them.

And then you read about the ones that disobeyed God's plan and how they always had something really crappy happened to them.

Having a healthy respect for God means to save your own butt and follow the instructions.

Only when a person realizes something of the immensity, power, majesty, holiness and righteousness of God will it dawn on them the need to think of God with reverence and awe; for "our God is a consuming fire" and "without holiness no-one will see the Lord" (Heb. 12:29 &14). The previous verses show how we respected our human fathers when they disciplined us - how much more-so when our heavenly Father disciplines us, for He chastises all whom He calls 'sons'. Vs. 10 says, "God disciplines us for our good, that we may share in his holiness."

Children fear to displease their father but seek to please him, confident of his love for them, but knowing he has the power and the authority to discipline them. So with those led by the Spirit of God, as Romans ch. 8 details, know they are sons of God who can now call God "Abba! Father!" They know they are heirs of God. It's awesome! And so they approach, in awe, fearing to displease their loving heavenly Father.
