Why are all these people screaming about opening schools and all of these children's lives are ruined if they aren't back in the classroom? It would seem that if all the teachers were horrible remote schooling would be a blessing.

So which is it? Are teachers important or not? If not, then lets not have schools anymore. It would save us a lot of money.

Or, let's go with your premise that you fire every teacher. How many do you think are actually going to come back? So now we'll have rooms with 100+ students in them. Do you really think the "good" teachers are going to stick around and be abused. Its not like the country has a huge abundance of teachers. Just try finding a high school science or math teacher. Not very easy.

And yes, all of your teachers should have been fired long ago.

Gypsy.    actually intelligent people can tell the difference by checking on the data of the classes taught by every teacher. So because you are unable to figure it out do not say it can not be done.

Teachers have worked very hard learning to teach over zoom, and keep kids engaged on their devices. I would pose for you the very complex question of how to identify "good" teachers, but your thinking is very simplistic, so I don't think that would be worth while.
