How come electronic devices connect in midair like magic with no wires?
How do you just make something that is in midair and just controls something else that doesn’t touch it at all?
Like how are my AirPods in my ears with no wires playing music from my iPhone that’s not even in the same room?
Can I then just pick up a leaf and it will play Britney Spears like how does this happen no wires with nothing connecting it like ?
Can they do this without radiation also like I want the music in my ears but not radiation and all that who wants the cancer radiation part obviously like if AirPods in ears close to head is this like that radiation thing ? Or is it not a radiation
Edit: I believe wireless charging is in fact done without radiation and uses magnetic field which requires an extremely close distance between sources to obtain

More than 100 years ago, scientist discovered they could generate radio waves by causing electricity to flow back and forth in an antenna. These are electro / magnetic in nature. They can travel in a wire, in air, and in the vacuum of space.
We have learned to modul
ate these waves. In other words, we can combine other waves like sound and affect the behavior of the radio wave so that voice or music rides piggyback. The now modified radio wave thus carries intelligence. We have further refined this modulation so we can transmit TV pictures with soundtrack. Additionally, radio waves can be modified so that they can remotely control devices. The most extreme example, we can remotely drive a vehicle on the planet Mars and watch it as it performs.
A tip of the hat to Marconi and Morris and Armstrong and Edison and Fleming and countless others that invented and / improved radio transmission and reception

This “action at a distance” might seem weird when you compare it to pushing your finger against a door for example, but note that “touching” actually also is action at a distance: the atoms of your skin never really make contact with the atoms of the door, their electron clouds repel each other well before they would be touching....

It could be done with gravitational waves, maybe with a system that uses dark matter.

You do know that if a wire (conductor) is moved through a magnetic field, electricity will be generated in the wire?---That's how electric generators work. Yes, but you say a MAGNET only has a range of a few inches or so.----It does, but it had been discovered that if you use an electromagnet and reverse the electric flow through it, back and forth the field will expand and collapse and reverse, etc. Also well and good------BUT if you do it FAST ENOUGH like 10K hertz or more, the collapsing field will strike the NEW field coming out before it can entirely collapse and the waves will RADIATE OUT from the magnet and spread for many feet or MILES. Its called "RADIO" (get it?, the waves RADIATE out)
Now if a remote device has an "antenna"----a length of wire or conductor on it, these magnetic RADIO WAVES will cut across it and generate a SMALL electrical current in it----This current will be AMPLIFIED and used to CONTROL the remote device.
Of course the current generated will be very small, but electronics will permit it to control a LARGER, useful current in the device itself that will move a motor, or play on a loudspeaker or make an image, etc. The "Antenna" is "tuned" to the radio wave mostly by its length so it will resonate with it. and only respond to the frequency of the RADIO wave being transmitted.
Signals can be put on the wave simply by turning it on and off, like Morse code, or by "Modulating" the wave---making it stronger or weaker Like using a microphone to make the POWER of the wave higher and lower in response to a voice or music waves. These sound frequencies are usually a lot slower than the RADIO WAVE, so the wave keeps the same frequency of oscillation and the music, etc are waves of strength differences in the wave---which are sent to a loudspeaker in the receiving device.

The music is a form of information. All information requires a carrier. Even listening to the orchestra live requires a carrier. Sound is carried by molecules in the air. The music information can be printed on paper and transported.
Your Air pod uses electromagnetic radiation to carry the information.
Radiation can have many different frequencies with different properties. You charging station uses very low frequency radiation which is a lot closer to an unchanging field. But it is still changing so it emits radiation.
At a very high frequency we get light which you are not scared of. At a still higher frequency we get xrays and gamma radiation which does worry you.
Specific frequencies have differing effects. Heat is higher frequency than the frequencies used by your airpod. The interesting thing is that both low and high frequencies can penetrate your body although for two differering reasons.
Note that you CAN have players that use light or infrared to transmit the music but they don't pass through walls or objects so are only useful in limited spaces. But that also means they don't interfere with other transmitters in other rooms.

Radio frequency. Have you noticed that there’s an increase in brain cancer as more and more devices are made.
