registered nurse, er tech, respiratory therapist?
So I’m going to school for CNA. I recently came across the position of an ER Tech and the position of a respiratory therapist. I’m not entirely sure what either of those jobs until. I guess my biggest question is what’s the difference between being a registered nurse an ER Tech and a respiratory therapist. If I had to guess I’d say they were all correlated in someway.Which would be the better job to take and pursue.

Once you start working as a CNA you'll network with people from other healthcare fields. Talk to them about their jobs and determine which sounds the most appealing.

A respiratory therapist is an Associate degree at a minimum.
ER tech is usually an EMT, some may be Paramedics which is a much shorter course.
ER techs make a lot less that a CRT. Certified Respiratory Therapist make about the same as RNs, median US salary about $57,000
