When Government demands you shut down your businesses due to the pandemic, shouldn't They be paying for your losses? If ?

you can't pay your rent or mortgage due to being not allowed to work shouldn't Government at least pay some basic amount to cover the interest accumulated or subsidize your rent?

Update:

u-bin-called: That is Great Sarcasm! You nailed it. Now those who failed and went bankrupt due to Government Dominating them to their Destruction can pay the interest on all that added National Debt!

didn't you hear?  they passed that massive "relief plan" that offered billions in aid to businesses impacted by the shutdowns...

of course, the paperwork required to apply for that relief was so complicated that you needed a CPA and attorneys in several fields of law to complete them...

and of course, by the time you filled in that paperwork all the money was gone because the large corporate donors who have accountants and attorneys on staff finished their applications weeks ahead of you...

but hey.... they also allowed you to get "emergency loans" from the Big Banks that also donate heavily to the DNC....

so if you couldn't get any of the billions that went to DNC donors, at least you had the opportunity to go heavily into debt to DNC donors...

    that's a "win win"........ isn't it?

@ anonymous... “So now you expect the Gov't to bail you out for not preparing yourself for times like this? ”

I bet this person took and supported both stimulus packages.
