    LAX couldn't get a flight direct back home to Australia, had to wait 4 days for a seat.

    Japan to France, flight was canceled & the next flight JPL direct to Bordeaux International had been re-scheduled, so had to wait 3 days

    No, but I almost became a resident of Mexico. I walked in without a passport. This was before it was technically illegal to do that, but I got chewed out big time by the border agents when I tried to get back into the US. It was totally worth it though.
