If America is secular, then why are Easter and Christmas Eve/Day considered holidays?

I mean when I moved to America I thought it separates church and state but during December I saw there were Christmas trees and people were celebrating it publicly. The same with Easter and egg hunts. I find this against the American ideal of secularism and do not think is right.

America is NOT secular, we do have freedom of religion.  You are free to have your own beliefs and worship in they way you choose.  We try not to have things that are offensive to others, but as has been proven, that is completely impossible.  Christmas has been commercialized and is a major shopping season.  Major retailers will never let Christmas go away.  Christmas trees ARE secular as well as the Easter Egg.  You are in America now and if you don't like the way things are done here, you need to move back to where you came from.

Bruh did you forget our money has “in God we trust on it”.. did you forget our pledge of allegiance has “one nation, under God” in it.. did you forget that America was literally founded upon Christianity with many references in our own Declaration of Independence? I mean are you not educated at all?

I would suggest you pack it up & move the heck back to wherever you came from.

As an American, I’ll speak for all of us.. we don’t claim you.

Also you should try minding your business. If you don’t celebrate those holidays.. that’s fine. You don’t have to but Don’t be upset when the majority who do celebrate it.. does it publicly.
