are Iranians that good of immigrants or it's all myths? ?

Iranians are just people like every other.  You get good and bad, just like every other.  Iran has not changed that much from 1979.  They are still a highly educated bunch of people, they just have stricter laws now.  They always were a mix of liberal and conservative people, with the cities being more progressive, while the smaller towns being more religiously conservative just like here in the USA.  What happened in 1979 though was that the religiously conservative took the country by force because they could never get in through an actual democratic vote, and have ruled since.

Don't you remember what Iran was like before 1979?  (Probably not born yet.)  Iran looked about like Europe then, or maybe Turkey.  Then came the Islamic revolution.  There used to be a lot of cosmopolitan capitalists in Iran.  

Im no expert on the subject but yes I am inclined to say that they are. They assimilate well into our society for the most part.
