Do you think God will lengthen your life if you need it ?

I grew up with non religious parents and it took a very long time for me to redefine my goals and values and mental state to match the characteristics of the bible

I have more dreams now than I did when I was 16 years old and a lot of people are telling me I have to give up and just take left overs cause I’m too old now

Like I have over 26 books I’m trying to write at the same time and one of my hobbies involves language learning so I’m trying to learn Arabic and Japanese and Sanskrit at the same time - I’m not learning to become fluent, I’m doing it purely for entertainment purposes - I believe I’m intelligent enough to become fluent but I’m not sure I have time to invest in thoroughly adapting to the languages so I’m just learning for fun

That depends on Him, His plan and His purpose.

His purpose will stand no matter what. Not one Word He has spoken will fall to the ground without Him fulfilling it.

Since people are not perfect they sometimes make bad decisions and God arranges "detours" but only IF he has a specific calling on that person and IF he declares that He will fulfill that calling.

Sometimes he can also extend the life of someone out of His Mercy.

Look up Hezekiah in the Bible and see how God prolonged his life by 15 years.

However, I can also tell you that we are living on the razor edge of God's judgment. People have no idea what is going to happen here unless they read the book of Revelation and studied it.

God is not an evil God seeking to hurt, harm and destroy. But this planet is full of evil, sexual slavery, murder of kids, satanism, selfishness, ungodliness, rapes, kids killing their parents and the other way around, people hating each other in many directions, the pollution of the earth, etc. At some point enough is enough. The Bible says He will bring judgment and destruction so He can rebuild the earth to the way it was meant to be, and how it was at the beginning of time.

The question is only this: where will you be? Millions will cross the bridge to eternity suddenly and they have no idea. You need to be ready to stand before Christ at any moment.

Just repent of your sins every day. Put distractions aside especially TV and social media, and choose to spend quality time with him. Seek him and worship him. Make sure you are in right standing with the Lord.

He loves all of us, but it is our decision if we'll spend eternity with him in heaven or not. Please, take this to heart. Time is running out.

The answer to the question depends on

which version of religion you believe in.

If you are into the "preordained" side of

things, then you will live only as long as

has been designated. If you believe in

some kind of destiny, then implications

are you will live as long as it takes for

you to achieve whatever that is. So on,

    and so forth.

I have a feeling you meant ambitions

rather than actual dreams. I suggest

you move your question to the more

    appropriate category, "Religion &

    Spirituality" (linked below)
