Isn’t it illegal to prosecute Nazis worldwide because of the Statute of Limitations?

    The statute of limitations in Germany for Nazi-era war crimes was repealed in 1979.

    NO there is NO STATUTE OF LIMITATIONS FOR MURDER

    and i approve of any Trial against anNazi even if he is 120 Years old it deserves to die in Prison

    There is no statute of limitations on war crimes.

    In fact the US recently extradited a NAZI war criminal that we found hiding in the US back to Germany to face trial.

    There is a statute of limitations in the US for certain crimes, but not for murder. And it doesn't apply to international crimes anyway. But there aren't many Nazis left alive. If they were 20 in 1939, they'd be 102 today.

    Statues are different in every country, and also different for every crime.

    In many, if not most cases, Nazi war crimes are not covered under them.
