How long did the feeling of shock last when you saw Yahoo Answers is being shut down?

5 minutes. I wasn't surprised at all.

I am not surprised. Verizon media never did a thing with it. They just let it go to hell. Why they even bought it in the first place is beyond me. My guess is the advertisers saw it was just a bunch of trolls, and rightly decided advertising on it would hurt, not help. What verizon did was like buying an expensive car and driving it without any oil, just to save money.

Shock 🤣🤣

I had a mouthful of tea  and feckin laughed upon reading the email yahoo sent me that  they were closing this place down on the 4th of May...

I never did YA has been going downhill for some years, so it had to happen at some point. LOL Nice one Tommy mate.

I’m currently bothered a lot more by something else, but this doesn’t help matters.

I was not shocked or surprised. YA has been dieing a slow death for years, it was inevitable the plug would be pulled eventually. I think it was good of them to keep it up and running for as long as they did. 

Oh man, I entered a catatonic state.

I mean I've only been on here for 10 months and I'm not on here super often, but to be honest, it took me a while to process... maybe like a good 20 minutes as well. At first I started asking questions, but then when I saw that others were also asking questions about the shutdown, I realized it was actually happening. :(

I was stunned but not shocked. Its pretty crazy though!
