I don’t know if the coax cord wall outlet is working. How do I go about this with new landlord?

Unfortunately it is late here now. I texted asking about it. And I’m hoping they understood what I meant when I said I’m a full-time student with my own internet which means I need the wall outlet for my coax cord. I’ve tried 2 different coax cords. My internet is in service & modem is working, it’s just not receiving anything from the coax cord.

If they act dumb about not knowing about the wall outlet after I’ve already paid my rent + damage deposit. And on the day I viewed this suite I pointed at the coax cord outlet and said “sweet I can hook up my own internet here for my schooling” and they said “yeah, okay good”

How can you tell the modem is working if there is no signal from the outlet? Why would you pay for service that has not been verified?

First, your service provider will have to install and check your cable outlet. Prewired could save you a little money.
