Why is it now the GOP plan either vote for them or we take away your right due to Voting malpractice on black and brown voters  targeted  ?

Republicans have known since 1980 that they cannot win elections on their ideas. So, they began working hard to suppress the Democratic vote. And, that kept them largely in power for forty years. But, the 2020 election showed them voter suppression alone wasn't going to guarantee themselves wins any more. So, they've decided to go all in on rigging elections to the point of giving Republicans the legal authority to overturn any election results not to their liking ... i.e. Republicans are out to kill American democracy if they can.
