Would a new generation (2018-beyond) jeep compass be good for a new teen driver?

I want an suv, but a lot of the suv’s I’ve seen are very big. I like to be higher on the road. I’m not concerned about speed, I don’t care to drive 100 mph on the highway. Here is the link to the article to check out->

If anything reading this post has a second generation jeep compass please share your thoughts and opinions

There are better compact SUVs than the Jeep Compass.  The Mazda CX-5, Volkswagen Tiguan, Honda CR-V, Toyota RAV-4, Subaru Forester and Ford Escape are better choices.

American suv's are junk i woudn't buy any of them. Definitely stick to toyota or mazda sure you will pay more but they are much better built suv's and way more solid than any of the american crap. If you have the money then some of the german suv's are also very good.

Most every objective review notes that the Jeep is not a good car.  Not economical, not fast, not luxurious, not reliable.   But they also have  very dedicated owners who just love their Jeeps despite the faults.

It is just something about the 'Jeep experience' that they love.

The Jeep Compass nd Jeep Liberty are junk. If you're going to spend money on a smaller SUV go drive a Toyota RAV4. They hold their value and need minimal maintenance.

It would, but I found the Subaru Crosstrek to have better drivability.
