It may never be over completely. Viruses are masters of mutation. It might end up being a situation where it will just keep cropping up every year like the flu does in various forms. I guess the best that can be hoped for is to make it less deadly.

Don't think that if vaccine is there so covid has gone. Vaccine only produces antibodies in an individual but is not a complete cure for the disease. So take all the necessary precautions.

we don’t know how soon it will be over. the vaccines are certainly helping and it should be over soon, at least that’s what the hope is. no one knows how the virus will react once most people have been vaccinated or how long it will take to be manageable.
it’s definitely not over yet. keep wearing your mask(s. double masking is good). keep social distancing. keep being careful. but keep hopes up too <3

If they continue to give out the vaccines at the rate that they're giving them out then by this time in 2022 everybody will have had a vaccine and the covid virus should be eliminated by then.
Of course they're still going to be the people that refused to take the vaccine that's going to go around trying to infect everybody else.
But will let the good Lord deal with that problem

Covid is unlikely to go away. We may even need annual vaccinations like the flu jab.
Time will tell.
