Is yahoo answers temporarily shutting down?

I think they made an error and need to switch the dates around . It says shutting down may 4th 2021 and returning april 20th 2021 .. error right ?

Update:

I re read it and I feel slow  😂🤦‍♀️🤦‍♂️ yahoo shutting down may 4th and it was talking about something else that will begin april 20th .

    Yep, it's shutting down, but permanently, not just temporarily.

    The statement clearly says that beginning April 20th the site will be "read only" .. . . and it will disappear completely on May 4th.  What part don't you understand?

    And for all the doubters:  why don't you go take a look at Yahoo Groups?  They said it would disappear in December and it did.  Period.
