what’s wrong with my cats skin ?

it’s located where her tail meets her lower back , she can’t reach there to lick so i don’t think it’s just irritation from too much licking . we have to use a wet wipe to wash her lower back . i shaved the area for now and am washing it out with water regularly to prevent infection . but does anyone know what this could be ? miliary dermatitis ?

Update:

and yes , we will be taking her to the vet

6 days and you still haven't taken her to the vet?

Those are marks from the cat trying to get away from your molestation acts.

Those are scratches, not from licking. Obviously, this cat needs to see a vet. It might likely be from fleas or mites. If your vet suspects mites, ask about getting Revolution monthly flea drops. Unlike other flea drops that are just good for fleas, Revolution also helps kill mites, which can also give animals mange. Revolution is a prescription flea med, so you have to get it from the vet. Those scratches are going to keep itching as they scab, so the vet might suggest a cream to stop the itching until they heal and disappear, and if they are infected, an antibiotic. But this is clearly something you need to consult a vet on. It could also be a food allergy. You might want to try a grain free cat food. But it could even be a neurological disorder. My sister has a cat that would bite his tail until it bled, and he had a neurological disorder that he has to take medicine for. You shouldn't have shaved it, shaved hair is just going to make the area more itchy. But instead of asking opinions here, you need the opinion of a vet who will be better able to diagnose and provide correct treatment. Washing it constantly with water is just going to keep it wet, and prevent it from drying and scabbing and healing. So you're doing Everything wrong lol. Go to the vet asap.

It appears to be shaved or cut, but it could be over grooming. Only a trip to your vet and a skin scrape will tell everything. Most cats can reach that area to groom and once they have a problem they won't leave it alone. She might have to wear a cone for a while for it to heal. Good Luck.

look like cat need a heart worm test shot and those are worms  some thing you need to take care of because cats and dogs get those from old expire cats foods and some times old raw meats and toxic foods that shouldnt be feeding to the animals. you need to get the cat a blood test by vet. not normal to see. not a rash.

Could it possibly be dry skin and the cat getting itchy. If not that then maybe fleas.

It may be some kind of parasitic infestation and maybe allergy.  go and take him to a vet

Water will do nothing at all, it look like the cat has been clawing or rubbing its back causing those marks and that idicates it itches, which indicates an allergy potentially a parasite like mites but could be fleas, could be food... the cat needs to see the vet asap

My guess is some kind of parasitic infestation and maybe allergy.  Maybe mites, which are so small you won't see them.  Or a flea allergy.  but it looks more like mites to me.  Mites won't wash off, as they stay under the surface.
