My computer was at full charge when I unplugged it. When I went to open it, I had to plug it in and lost my browsers. What is wrong with pc?

Do you mean that your laptop (not a desktop) was at full charge?

Everything was gone because the battery did not hold the charge (it is dead and needs replacing).

You can't lose you browser's unless you uninstall them or delete them. Try doing a system restore> type system restore in the start menu and follow the instructions.
