it is pointless to upgrade gpu beyond what the cpu can support. find on internet a site that calculates 'bottlenecking' ... put in your cpu and other data, plus the worst gpu you can imagine. let the site tell you what gpus will work well with what else you have. then check the gpu hierarchy list at gaming website like tomshardware or guru3d ... while looking at prices in another browser window ... you want the cheapest gpu that's near in processing power the list provided by the bottlenecking site. -- grampa
