I feel the burglar or the boogeyman is one dead mother f***er.

i have no desire in owning a firearm. not that i have anything against legally owning one of course.

I own several. I don’t have any particular feelings about it anymore than I do about the hammer or vacuum cleaner. They are tools. I don’t think about them often except when black people come and burn down my city every few months. If they ever attack where I live, I expect to feel bad about having to use the tool after the fact, but at least I will be alive.

If the gov’t said they would keep all law enforcement officers far away from me for the rest of my life if I would just agree to own a gun and be responsible for my own personal safety, I would certainly own one. Wouldn’t carry it around with me necessarily (unless that was stipulated in the deal) or fall in love with it like some people do...I might see myself falling in love with a nice guitar for example, but never a firearm....but I would be willing to make that kind of deal with the devil if it meant I would never have to deal with another cop again. Because I hate cops even more than I hate firearms.

I own several of them. I don't feel any different than I did when I didn't own any.
They are fun as hell, to shoot. I am not afraid of anybody. It's sport to me.

I would not mind but I don't really need one.
I see that a few must need them, Bless LOL.

Lol I own several. Once I shot my first gun I was hooked and got a shotgun as a gift.
I like to collect guns now. They are ausome and I love being an American.
I noticed you said how do you feel. I "feel" better.
Would you go to war unarmed?
Would you bring a knife to a gun fight?

I've owned many, not even one of them has made me feel anything for it or about it really.

I'd feel like a coward, a weakling or a bully. In my experience, those are the kinds of people who usually own them.
The only entities I feel need firearms are the police and military. Otherwise, the world would be a better place without them. Though, that said, as ex-military I swore an oath to uphold the Constitution, and the Constitution says Americans have the right to own them, so I support that. I don't like it. But I support it.
But just to be clear, just because our Constitution says you CAN own a gun, it doesn't mean you SHOULD, or that you even HAVE TO. Unless, of course, you're a coward, weakling or bully.

I wouldn't. If I was so paralyzed with terror that I felt the urge to buy a gun to feel safe, I'd get help from a therapist, which is much less dangerous than owning a gun.
