3 children in LA were murdered with an assault knife!!! When will we ban cutlery ?

But then we'll start strangling people with our fingers. Then they'll ban fingers. With no cutlery and no fingers we'll all starve to death.

Knives were created to serve humans in a variety of ways that benefit us. 

The intrinsic purpose and only purpose of guns is to kill that’s it. 

Bullets & knives don't kill people. It's the loss of blood which does.

Knives/blades: a multi use tool that has been with us since the dawn of humanity, has many uses, most of which in the 21st century don't involve killing.

Guns: have only had them a very short time in comparison, invented for killing, still used for killing, has no other use than an intention to kill (be it human or hunting).

Find us more uses for guns then we can talk equal comparisons. A gun will never match the history and need of a blade. Even if today's guns ever go obsolete the knife will probably still be with us.
