- The guys swipe like on every single girl that's even remotely (not ugly)
- The girls swipe like on the only really hot guy within a 20 mile radius
- That one hot guy ends up banging 3 or 4 chicks a day, most of them pretty hot. But he'll bang some average looking chicks also, just to fill out his schedule when necessary
- All the other guys wonder why they never get a match
If you are the type of guy who has to ask how dating apps work, then the simple answer is that they don't work. Not for you, anyway. If you are the type of GIRL who has to ask how dating apps work, then they work quite well if you are reasonably attractive and looking for nothing but casual sex.
