the pitcher, or the catcher?
it's a team effort with the catcher working with the pitcher to call the right pitches, framing strikes, tagging them out on strike outs, etc.
i know some like david ross was really excited when he caught arrieta's 2nd no hitter since that was his only one of his career, and even jake said he was happy for him.
sure pitchers have to make the pitches and even some defense help. but i think catchers secretly enjoy it a little more. might be more gratifying to them.
