politics - what do you think of this irony?

conservatives are saying to biden and democrats don't take credit for the vaccine, since it was under Trump and his administration (even though scientists did the work)

but a lot of conservatives aren't even taking the shots because of some fear / conspiracy that they will be dead in ten years or mind will be in control to vote democrat.

An even deeper irony than that?

Trump lost the election mainly due to his Covid response..which Biden is well on his way to surpassing  in his first few months of presidency.

It is true the vaccine was developed during the Trump administration, but the distribution  of it was very disorganized. Biden got it out there quickly. and should be credited for that. Yes I have family members who won't get those shots and that is just one of the many ironies.

    Ironic indeed.

Scientists made the vaccine so Trump can take no credit.

Scientists did not save us from COVID-19 so it is all Trump's fault.

    Makes perfect sense!

The vaccine was developed while Trump was in office, but is not unique to the U.S.   Biden had nothing to do with vaccine development.  People are right to call a Biden out on this.

Many sources acknowledge normal research has been cut short to get vaccines on the market quickly, and people are right to question this.  I’ve had the vaccine, but I understand why some people, especially people at low risk are reluctant.  My youngest sister had Covid and it was less notable than than a cold.  I get why she sees no need to take a rushed vaccine.   In contrast, I’m glad my mom and dad are getting the vaccine.

It's really dumb at this point, but it does work both ways. I'm tired of people listening to whatever their political party tells them, I don't know why people can't even make an attempt to understand both sides of the argument. Overall yes very ironic and dumb, but it works both ways, with people saying before when it was under Trump they wouldn't take it. People need to think for themselves and not let others tell them what to think.
