Has Verizon ever offered a price to sell Yahoo! Answers or is it simply not up for sale?

I searched that question and there's only mention of the site closing, nothing about if they're offering to sell it

They don't need to. Oath, a communist Chinese controlled company operates it for pennies on the dollar. Verizon simply collects a check from Oath once a month without any operational costs to themselves.
This feature allows for freedom of speech and input from free people. Oath does not like that, not lone little bit, and since it generates no ad revenue its a feature they don't need to keep.
As long as oath sends Verizon money on a regular basis, Verizon doesn't care what the communists do.

I could probably easily buy it myself since it's probably not worth anything.
It would be a "LAN free" site, that's for damn sure!

That would be nice but probably nobody would give them what they want for it.
