Ian Fleming created a white Scottish character and that is why I believe he should remain white.... thoughts and hear more of my reason down?
Throughout the series it’s all supposed to be one character. So many references to other films in the franchise if you pay attention and watched movies. Plus how do you explain continuity wise why James Bond is a different color. Now that being said I am completely all for having another double 00 agent maybe 008 and make it a buddy movie with that guy and 007 teaming up.

Bond being ethnically Scottish isn't terribly important, at least not to the film franchise. That's what you've got to think about in these kinds of things. I don't see any reason why you couldn't have a black actor do a spot on Bond.

Actually Fleming never mentioned Bond's skin colour. He did tell us Bond's parents nationality, Scottish and Swiss. Not sure what your point is concerning continuity, Sean Connery doesn't look the same as Roger Moore.

Ian Fleming created a character that served in World War 2, that is why if James Bond is set in the modern era he should be over 100 years old and live in a care home.
