Maybe your mother is just talking to hear herself talk.  I don't know if she told you those chicken nuggets are horrible for a dog's health, even once a week, but they are  The coating is junky, the oils they are fried in are refined and terrible for anyone, including a dog and the chicken is likely full of hormones.  If you want to give your dog chicken, then get hormone free, free range organic chicken for the dogs.  

Hello concerned one sometimes even parents can be having a bad day or days and don’t act like we expect them to because they are imperfect or maybe she dealing with something on your mind and heart and lashing out unintentionally. If possible or needed write her a loving calm respectful note- letter asking her is she ok do she need to talk about anything because you care and don’t want the division or negative things with you to to continue this way and leave it some where age can see it instead of giving it to her directly. A kind word at the right time is priceless and can change hearts attitudes minds situations. Pray before starting your note-letter for right words for courage do you can keep a calm heart peace of mind and feel better about things. Hope it gets better try to be patient and understanding.
