There's a catch with abortion, which I guess is the pain you might be inflicting to the fetus at the moment of aborting it. I guess the only good solution is a better solution. And in the meantime, there's no right or wrong. It's not perfect, it should be better.

In many countries around the globe, abortion is considered a legitimate option when a woman is pregnant but doesn’t want the baby. The proponents of abortion argue that women should have a free choice to terminate their pregnancy.
The opponents of abortion argue that a fetus is a developing human person, and has the basic human right to live. Abortion is thus considered murder.
Since this debate is literally of life importance, let’s explore what the Bible tells us about God’s view of abortion.
Is a fetus a human being?
The Bible is clear that humans are not allowed to murder fellow human beings: “You shall not murder” (Exodus 20:13). (See this article for an article about the difference between legitimate killing and murder). Killing defenseless children is an abomination in God’s sight (see e.g. Jeremiah 32:35, Psalm 94:6-10).
In the debate about abortion, it is, therefore, crucial to discern whether a fetus is already a human being or just a clump of cells, as some people claim.
There are various opinions about when exactly human life starts when an embryo becomes a person. Some think this starts right at conception, others take the first heartbeat as a starting point, or the moment the embryo is implanted in the mother’s uterus. But all this happens in the first three weeks after the conception – long before most abortions are performed.
It is simply absurd to claim that a fetus is just a clump of cells, given it grows and develops and contains all the genetic material needed to develop into a unique personality. A fetus is nothing less than a preborn person.

“Life is great—but no one deserves life”
That philosophical statement on life is VERY different than the philosophy that many other people follow.

killing is wrong. murder is wrong. why?
the reason is the same. it has nothing to do with intent.
even the courts agree, and have "involuntary manslaughter" as a crime you did not intend to commit...

Because despite all the study and research we still can't say for sure whether or not the unborn feels pain, and prevention is better than abortion. In 2021 we have a thing called the pill and other preventions such as condoms.

First, nowhere does the bible teaches that abortion is wrong.
God allows freedom of all people.
Hitler's mother begged for an abortion. Don't anyone say his life helped mankind.
Most actual lives hurt society.
The bible upholds those SAVED in Jesus.
This is false doctrine.
BUT!! There should be FAR better, easier birth control. FOR MEN! Easy for medical to do. Likely only take one pill a week.
There shouldn't be this discussion at all.
Pedophiles and satanists want babies.
Sex trade wants unhappy runaway.
Every baby a wanted, loved baby.

If you believe in God, murder of a preborn ~ = murder of God.
If there is a belief in no God, your stats, while overstated, are a reason to deny life... primarily to children going to foster care. It is a rationale similar to aborting "subhuman, deplorable" Jews, Uighurs, etc., and to Peter Singer's "quality of life" argument.

It isn't. It's a choice that only the woman should make based on the circumstances of her life which can include anything from her heatlh to childbirth risks, financial stability, detected health or developmental problems of the fetus, or the circumstances of her pregnancy (ie. due to rape), among many others. Nobody should ever be required by law or anyone else to give their body to someone else for that other individual's survival. Nobody can be compelled to donate a kidney or lung or their blood in order to support the life of someone else, and a woman should never be compelled to donate her body to support the life of an embryo/fetus that she does not want inside of her. At that point it is a parasite.
