Old cartoon question?
There's this old cartoon from either the 1950s or 1960s. This character was in some race with characters, and they were swimming. I think, across the English Channel and at the end they end up in Paris and we see the Eiffel Tower. This was either the cartoons of William Hanna, Jospeh Barbera or Tex Avery, or any old Universal cartoon. This was not a Looney Tunes/Merrie Melodieis cartoonn

I think it was a middle aged man who wins the race and we see the Eiffel Tower.
or it could have been in the Seine River.
But the character was swimming across some body of river where we can see the Eiffel Tower. Either it was the Seine or a nearby river, because the Eiffel Tower was still somewhat in the distance.
I was on a plane ride from Puerto Rico 20 years ago when I saw this on the flight back home (I won't specify where I was living as it would give out my identity) and this was on Boomerang

"Family" and "kids" is different. Kids cartoons as a whole really didn't start until the 1970s. Cartoons, even with adult themes, were meant to be wholesome and for the family. Disney for instance comes to mind. MGM is another.
