    I guess it depends on what you mean by “drunk”. That's less than a pint so I could drink that amount of ordinary-strength beer and not be “drunk”. A pint would be two units of alcohol and the UK limit for drinking is three units, so I'd be well below.

    But, if I was tired, hadn't eaten all day and the beer was exceptionally strong I guess I could be considered to be “drunk”.

    No, that's not even an imperial pint.  It takes a good deal more than that to see me under the table.
