Parabola Equation
Vertex (-4, 5) => (h, k)
Focus (-7,5) = (x, y)
Standard form of Equation:
y = a (x-h)^2 + k
a = √[(h-x1)(h-x1) + (k-y1)(k-y1)]
a = √[(-4+7)(-4 +7) + (5-5)(5-5)]
a= √[9]
a = 3
y = 3 (x+4)^2 + 5
