can you get the HPV vaccine when your an adult?

my overprotective mom won't let me get it, but if adults can get it, i'm getting it as soon as I turn 18

    Absolutely. It is most effective if given riot to any possible exposure, i.e. before you become sexually active, which is why it is targetted at adolescents.
